Attention Student Athletes, Parents, and Guardians:

FCS Drug Free

Attention Student Athletes, Parents, and Guardians:

Fleming County Schools will begin random drug testing student-athletes beginning July 1, 2017. During the regular board meeting this month, the Fleming County Board of Education approved, unanimously, to start drug testing student athletes randomly to ensure that students are making healthy decisions that can affect their academics.

We encourage students, parents, and guardians to review board policies 09.313 and 09.423 as both pertain to athletics and the new drug testing policy approved by the Fleming County Board of Education. Students who participate in any school sponsored athletic program at the middle school or high school will be required to take part in the random drug testing process. Random drug testing is not optional.

Should you have any questions, please contact Mr. Kevin Fulton, Athletic Director at Fleming County High School, or Mr. Jordan Fritz, Athletic Director at Simons Middle School. We look forward to the many upcoming athletic seasons during the 2017-2018 school year.
