Students will use a computer and application software including word processing, presentation, database, spreadsheets, internet, and email to prepare elementary documents and reports. The impact of computers on society and ethical issues are presented. Student’s goal is to become certified in IC3 and MOS upon completion of 2 trimesters and a career pathway in either Business or Information Technology.
CAREER PATHWAY: Business Education Career Majors: Finance, Marketing, and Advertising.
- To complete a career major, students must earn four credits within the career major. Three credits must come from recommended courses and include an upper-level course.
- Student must be preparatory in a career major and receive a related industry certification/KOSSA to be considered Career Ready.
- PREPARATORY- A student who has completed two career and technical education credits in a preparatory program and is enrolled in the third course.
