Students will study the development of the United States as a country from the arrival and settlement of the “First” Americans to the Reconstruction Era.This course will highlight the cultural differences between Native Americans, Europeans and Africans, the colonization of America, the American Revolution, and the establishment of the Constitution, Westward Expansion, and the War Between the States.
