Principles of Health Science (A & B) Syllabus
Course Credit: 1 (total) Instructor: Rhonda Whitson
Room Location: 220 – Third Floor
This course is taught during first and second trimester – consecutively. It covers the basic orientation and foundation for a career in health care. It also covers health care history, basic anatomy and physiology, plus basic safety procedures. Lecture, small groups and hands-on activities will be incorporated throughout the course.

Information will be presented to students via power-points – students will take handwritten notes and have frequent reviews independently and with partners. Student will not have the use of an individual textbook to utilize outside of class.
