Coronavirus Update No. 4

Coronavirus Update No. 4

March 20, 2020

Dear Fleming Countians,

Thank you so much for your support of our students, teachers, staff, and the district during the school closure. As we move into Week 2, I want to stress how important it is to model what Governor Beshear and President Trump continue to encourage: remote learning/working and social distancing. If you do not need to go anywhere, please stay home. Acceptable reasons to go places include purchasing groceries/food, prescriptions, medical care, going to the bank, and purchasing supplies for livestock and crops. This is not the time for sleepovers, family reunions, or other communal events.

FCS Coronavirus Preparedness

March 5, 2020

Attention Fleming Countians,

Like many of you, I am monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) closely. Though there have been no reported cases of Coronavirus in Fleming County or surrounding counties, I want you to know that this is a matter of top priority for myself and Fleming County Schools, and I continue to receive updates from local, state, and national governmental agencies, health officials, and other organizations, that give extensive up-to-date information.
