Fleming County High School is partnering with GoFan and will begin implementing a Card and Mobile Payment ticketing policy at all athletic events the school hosts. The new ticketing system begins this week with the Homecoming football game on Friday, October 1st at 7:30 p.m. against district foe Powell County at Panther Field.
Fans will be able to purchase tickets online through Fleming County’s GoFan page or by presenting a debit/credit card (or mobile payment option) at the ticket gate. The new ticketing policy allows FCHS to operate a more efficient and professional ticket gate, while creating a safer and enhanced fan experience.
“I am excited to be partnering with GoFan, and for our fans to have different purchasing options when they come to our home events on campus,” said Brian Teter, the District Athletic Director for Fleming County Schools and Fleming County High School. “We will always look to enhance our fan experience at home contests and make Fleming County a fun place to enjoy a sporting event.”
Purchasing tickets online allows fans to easily access and share tickets (via email or text) without standing in line. A refined ticket gate set up will help promote social distancing while limiting the physical exchange of cash, even though cash will be accepted if a fan cannot access the online system.
Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets online prior to reaching the sports venues at FCHS, and for convenience, signage will be setup at the venues to allow fans to easily navigate an online purchase. Tickets will also be available for Saturday’s boys and girls soccer doubleheader at Panther Field against East Carter, and for all home events in the future.
