I was very happy that my original phots was selected as one of the school-wide winners and submitted to the DPOJ competition. I got the opportunity to use my mom's Nikon d3000. I used the landscape setting with a single point of focus. The sunshine yellow color of the flower and the touch of soft water droplets were the focus of my lens. I was in my front yard when I took the photograph. I decided to name my photograph sunshine rain because of the color of the flower and the water droplets like it had just rained. I liked how precise the water droplets were and how distinct the color was. I wanted to show the beauty of the flower and make the flower the main focus no the green in the background.
