For the 2019-20 school year, Fleming County Schools is pleased to welcome Gateway Head Start classrooms into our buildings. 

Fleming County Schools State Funded Preschool and Gateway Head Start work collaboratively to provide preschool services to all eligible Fleming County children.     

To be eligible for the state funded preschool program:

  • 3 or 4 by August 1, 2019
  • 3 year olds must have an identified disability
  • 4 year olds must fall under federal income guidelines (up to 160% of poverty) or have an identified disability

Tuition spots may be possible, if enrollment numbers allow.

To be eligible for Gateway Head Start Program:

  • 3 or 4 by August 1, 2019
  • 3 and 4 year olds must fall under federal income guidelines (up to 130% of poverty) or have an identified disability
