SUMMER FEEDING 2025 NOTICE
Fleming County Schools will be providing Summer Feeding at 2 sites beginning May 29th 2025.
• FCHS will be an open congregate site (children must sit and eat meals on site) from June 3rd– June 5, 2025. Football and Cheerleading camps will participate in meals at FCHS.

SMS will be a non-congregate site. Multi-day meals will be handed out in SMS drive through every Thursday from May 29th to July 17th. July 17th will be our last day handing out meals. You need to register for meal pickup each week at this webpage:

• Put in number of children in QTY then click on Register Now. There is a copy button checkmark to click to help with registration
• Register children 2 years old – 18 years old
• Make sure there is a valid email address on registration
• Tickets – QR code will come to email. Save to phone device or print out.
• Show QR code (1 per child) when arriving at SMS
• Guardians only need to register ONE TIME for all the dates, every Thursday from May 29th – July 17th. There will be 7 days of breakfast and 7 days of lunch in each bag. All food is frozen or shelf stable.
• Children do not have to be with pick up person but driver must have Ticket/QR code to pick up meals.
If children receive meals at non-congregate site, they cannot receive meals at any other site sponsored by Summer Food Service Program.
Meals are free to any child 18 and under.

Rain (as long as it’s not lightning) or shine, our nutrition staff will be handing meals out every Thursday at Simons Middle School from May 29th to July 17th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. We welcome all children 2 y/o through 18 y/o! You will need to register for meal pickup each week at this webpage:

This is a one-time registration and children do not need to be with guardians to pick up. However, Tickets with QR codes for each child must be shown to School Nutrition staff upon arrival to SMS. Instructions on how to register and download your tickets to each meal service has been posted on Facebook as well.
FCHS Congregate Site will be opened for breakfast and lunch service June 3, 4, and 5, 2025 for Football Camp with Cheerleading Camp on June 5th. Any child 2-year-old to 18 year old may eat a breakfast and lunch on these days (on site @ FCHS) if they have not participated in the SMS Drive-thru non-congregate pick up.
