FLEMINGSBURG, KY —  Fleming County Schools is heartbroken to share the passing of Lindsey Marshall, a seventh grader at Simons Middle School, following a tragic accident.

Lindsey was full of life, a loyal friend to many, and a cheerleader whose energy and smile lifted every person and every room she entered.

“Our entire Fleming County Schools family grieves with Lindsey’s family,” said Superintendent Dr. Brian K. Creasman.

Counselors are available to support students, staff, and families. The Simons Middle School counseling staff can be reached at (606) 845-9331, and additional counselors and FRYSC staff from across the district will be present at Simons Middle School.

“In times of sorrow, our community has always leaned on one another,” Creasman added. “That strength is needed now more than ever. Together, we will walk through this loss and surround Lindsey’s family and friends with love, prayers, and support.”
