Fleming County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Monday, February , 2026 with limited morning and afternoon routes.
Due to expected winter weather arriving tomorrow, Fleming County Schools will be closed on Friday, February 6, 2026. This will be a traditional snow day that will be made up later in the school year. Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the safety of everyone in our school community.
Ella King, Class of 2025, built readiness for college and career through leadership, service, and real-world healthcare experiences at Fleming County High School. From Student Council to Allied Health internships and dual credit coursework, her portfolio shows learning in action.

Fleming County Schools will be virtual on Thursday, February 5, 2026. This will be NTI Day 10. The maority of bus routes remain problematic due to route conditions, including bus turnarounds.

Ari Hamm, Class of 2034, showed learning through hands-on projects and problem-solving at Hillsboro Elementary. From building clay life cycle models to working through math challenges with classmates, his BPI Portfolio highlights how learning comes alive through exploration and teamwork.

London Riley, Class of 2029, used her voice to lead through debate, civic writing, and student-initiated service at Simons Middle School. From exploring democracy through writing to creating a fundraiser that supported a local cause, her portfolio shows how powerful it is when student voice becomes action.

Fleming County Schools will transition to NTI for Monday, January 26th and Tuesday, January 27th, 2026. These will be NTI Days 3 & 4.
Due to the impending snowstorm expected to arrive on Saturday, January 24, 2026, all school and athletic activities have been cancelled. This decision was made to avoid disrupting Emergency Management personnel and District 9 transportation snow removal efforts, and to prioritize the safety of our students, staff, and community.
Sarah Ishmael, Class of 2029, built confidence and resilience through a year of intentional growth at Simons Middle School. From competitive clogging on the national stage to setting academic goals and reflecting on her progress, Sarah’s portfolio shows what it looks like when effort, balance, and persistence come together.
Her story reflects Vibrant Learning in Fleming County, where students grow through real experiences, teamwork, and reflection that prepare them for life beyond the classroom.

Fleming County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday, January 22, 2026. This delay will allow for additional daylight and safer road conditions as surfaces dry.
