This afternoon, Bus 37 was involved in a vehicle accident. The bus driver, bus monitor, and the students who were on the bus are okay. While everyone was understandably shaken, there were no reported injuries.
District staff responded immediately, and families of the students on the bus have been notified. The students were safely transported from the scene and are now home.
We are working closely with the Fleming County Sheriff’s Office as they complete their review of the accident. As always, the safety of our students and staff is our highest priority, and we appreciate the quick response of emergency personnel and our transportation team.
We are grateful that everyone is safe and appreciate the support and concern shown by our community. If additional information becomes available that is appropriate to share, we will provide an update.
